    What actually happened

This is the longer version, for anyone who wants the detail rather than the headline.

    Where I started

At fifty-two I was on seven prescriptions — Type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, sleep apnea, and weight that wouldn't shift no matter what I tried. Four and a half years of that. I genuinely believed it was just what happened to men my age.

The damage took twenty or thirty years to build. I did most of it to myself, without knowing what I was doing.

Now — seven stone down, no medication

    What changed

Someone finally explained insulin resistance to me. Not a diet, not a calorie target — the hormone underneath all of it. Once I understood that, the plan was simple: leave a proper gap between meals, and support my body while I did it. That's what the Feel Great protocol gave me.

Inside ninety days things had noticeably turned. Within eleven months I was seven stone down and, with my doctor, off all seven medications. Four years later I'm still maintaining it — fitter at fifty-six than I was at forty-five.

That's my experience, not a promise. Everyone's starting point is different, and anything involving medication is a conversation for you and your doctor.

    Why I talk about it

Because nobody told me, and those years cost me a lot. If you recognise yourself in any of this, message me. I'll tell you what I do and you can decide for yourself.
